Hey!
Thanks
Hi, Dev
I am student at Lovely Professional University pursuing BTech course in CSE core.
Gracias.****
I love warm welcomes like this. I'm looking forward to being apart of this community
Hi! I'm here to write story's so I can give people who are coding a little story to read.
Hi everyone,
I am software developer. Most of I wrote is still in use. In last 2 years with AI assistance I have written more than in my whole career. I am Oracle DB, Integrations specialist, but now work on my open source projects regarding logs/search/DB. Developing Solo projects at times feel lonely, so I joined DEV for missing communication part.
Cheers!
Hey Karlis! Welcome to Dev.to! Made a great choice to come here as there is a lot of resources here to learn from and a great community! I hope you will find a person to work with you on projects! You can check out @itsugo post on How a DEV Friend and I Brought Two Avatars to Life . It's a great read and I recommend it! Hope your journey goes well :D
Hey Karlis! Welcome to dev!! You're definitely in the right place! (≧︶≦))( ̄▽ ̄ )ゞ
and hey Francis! Thanks for mentioning my post, truly honored!
Appreciate it! Happy to join the community!
Thanks a lot! Really appreciate the warm welcome and the rec — that post sounds awesome. Totally agree, teams can make great things happen! Excited to keep learning and connecting here :)
Welcome Karlis, I am also new here and in world of developers also. Can you kindly give any particular advice about how to get into open source projects for beginners like me.
Hey, welcome! I’m also new here on DEV, but not so new to open source. 🙂
My personal approach is to build a solid “AI‑assisted” dev setup: for example, I use VS Code with GitHub Copilot Pro, plus tools like Claude, Gemini and Perplexity to explore docs, code and ideas. I described my setup in this post if you’re curious: My 60 USD/month dev environment: Copilot Pro, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity Pro.
For getting into open source, I’d recommend picking a tech you like, then looking for repos with labels like good first issue and starting with very small contributions (docs, typos, tiny fixes) to learn the workflow without pressure.
That's a nice approach to increase productivity. I will look into your post about dev environment setup for sure. It was nice to hear from you.
Hey!
I response to that, so you get a feeling of social interaction.
Thanks!
Hi!
Hi! How are you doing today?
Fine, thanks!
Happy to See you.
Hi! How are you doing today?
Hello everyone :) I'm a software developer of all kinds for ages ;) My first code was for ZX Spectrum ;) Fortunately, I love learning and adopting new things and new technologies, so I'm still here (recently mostly as a manager, but I still love coding).
Welcome to DEV, Piotr. There's plenty to learn here.
Hey Piotr! Welcome to Dev.to! Great choice to join us since there is a lot to learn from others and great resources for all the things you need in your journey! What is your favorite part of being a Software Developer? Nevertheless, welcome!
Hi Piotr!
Hey Dev 👋
I am an application developer who enjoys solving problems and staying up to date with the newest technologies. More recently I have been enjoying automation but I also like working with back end technologies and building APIs. I hope to build a mobile application one day!
Peter, welcome to DEV!
Hey Peter! Welcome to Dev.to! Glad you enjoy being an application developer! I was wondering if you have build any projects? I know you want to build a mobile application, but was wondering if there is anything you have done so far before? If so, feel free to share on this platform! Nevertheless, hope your journey goes well!
Welcome Dev. I am also learning backend technologies and building APIs like FastAPI.
Name twins! I'm into automation too, what's one of your favorites?
Hello Dev's
Backend developer by trade. Java junkie by choice. Currently learning frontend for character development or trying to figure out how a "simple" bash script managed to erase half my machine.
Hey Void! Welcome to the Dev.to Community! Hope your journey goes well!
Hello!
I'm currently enrolled in a Software Development bachelor's program at Devry. I am hoping to become a full-stack developer with a focus on front-end development.
My low-key goal is to create an awesome AAA title game. (mildly joking but who knows lol)
The more realistic goal is to help build website and what people see when they look at the websites. I'm pretty good at making things look eye appealing. :)
In my classes I'm currently focused on Python so in turn Python will be my first language. Which, I think is pretty cool.
Hey Mamp! Welcome to Dev.to! Also a Full Stack Dev here! For front-end development, what are you plan on using? React, Vue? In any case, welcome!
I'm thinking React because the name is familiar but I also don't know anything about any of the other ones. I had heard that there are some that are more difficult to work with than others but I'm unsure graphically wise which one comes out better? If one is more difficult to work with but the end result is overall better I wouldn't mind using that one instead.
I'm a CS graduate who now makes games, and it's super cool to start making games once you got the bases down. Very gratifying and fun! So don't let your AAA dreams be dreams! Especially if you have a good eye for aesthetics and design, I would say it's one of the hardest things to really learn. (I would pick up Object Oriented Programming if you're looking to make games, though!)
Happy learning!
What I'm thinking is having my base education be on web and app development while taking extra courses that lean into game development. I will definitely look into object oriented programming. I'm in so discord groups and one of them was talking about vectors and placements I'm assuming for leaning into 3D models for games. I just start but I'm super super excited!
Hi there! I'm also starting out on my Python journey. Hope you're enjoying it as much as I am
I really am! Like I said I am in school and while I am having fun I feel kind of slow in comparison, but I am learning and having fun so, that's what matters.
Are you also in school? Or are you learning on your own?
I'm retired now, but I spent most of my career programming in Delphi. Python is completely new to me, and it's brought back the joy I had when I first started programming all those years ago.
Work at your own pace, and try not to compare yourself to anyone else. One day something just clicks, and suddenly you realise you're moving forward with confidence.
I'm learning on my own with freeCodeCamp and by discussing things with AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT. I have a little rule for myself: no code snippets unless I really need them. First I ask for a general explanation, then pseudocode if I'm still stuck, and only then actual code. Copying code doesn't help me learn — trying, failing, and figuring out the error teaches me far more.
Hi DEV!
I'm a software engineering student, I worked for 16 years in the fashion industry and developed a passion for solving problems. So here I am wanting to learn from the experience of others and be part of this community.
Happy to be here!
Welcome to DEV!
Hey Luisa! Welcome to Dev.to! 16+ years is quite impressive and glad you enjoy what you do! Any goals you have for this year on Dev.to? A lot of great well-minded people here to connect with! Overall, hope your journey continues to go well :D
Wow! My fiance works on the corporate side of the fashion world and I am really trying to picture what the software side must’ve entailed! Very cool! I am new here and new to coding just been a build stuff junky my whole 30 years of life and finally found my way here. Just trying to learn and understand enough to make fun interesting cool things!
Hi Luisa! When you say "fashion industry", do you mean like, as a designer/model or as a software dev but in fashion? If that's the former, that's a big jump in careers! I feel like I would be completely overwhelmed if I was back to square one in computer science today. Best of luck and welcome 💖
Hello Luisa,
I am also from the fashion industry. I have a brand called Perfect Population but I just started a Tech Company and so Ive been learning and developing. Great to meet you!
Hi everyone! I'm a full-stack developer (Apache/PHP 8.x + Vanilla JS) building AitoCore — an ecosystem for professional AI news and tools. I joined DEV to share technical insights about AI implementation and high-speed web architecture. Excited to be part of the community! 🚀
Hey Aito! Welcome to Dev.to! Also a Full-stack here as well, though my stack is different. How long have you been a full stack dev? What do you enjoy about being a developer? Hope your journey goes well for you here!
Sounds great! What secret sauce do you have toward AI implementation? A few tips to share up front?
Hi!
I'm a BTP/CAP/UI5 developer working in the SAP ecosystem, and I'm looking to transition into React. I'm here to learn as much as I can and benefit from everyone's advice and experience.
I'm looking forward to connecting with devs :)
Hey Natalia! Welcome to the community! Great resources here to hone your skills and a great community to be part of! Is there a reason you want to work with React? In any case, welcome :D
Can't say I recognize any of those acronyms 😅, but React is pretty great! Welcome!
Can't say I recognize any of those acronyms, but React is pretty great! Welcome!
Hello, my name is Kelly.
I am a beginner developer transitioning from creative direction into technical execution. I started with vibe coding and gradually began learning the fundamentals more seriously. I am currently building a members only social and fashion tech community. I spent 15 years in the fashion industry as a designer and recently worked with the fast fashion brand Shein.
Now I am building my own startup that merges fashion, film, community, and technology under one ecosystem. I am here to deepen my understanding of software development, architecture, and product building. I am looking forward to learning from everyone here and contributing where I can.
That's great to hear Kelly and welcome to Dev.to! Great work so far and 15+ years in the fashion industry is really impressive! What designs did you create specifically in that industry? Regardless, welcome and hope your journey goes well for you!
Thank you, I appreciate it. I designed for Shein for four years, focusing on ready to wear and fast cycle production. I was selected as one of five independent designers for the Shein X Monse collaboration alongside the creative directors of the fashion house Oscar de la Renta. I’m also the founder of Perfect Population By KL Allen and recently presented at Paris Fashion Week on March 8, 2026. Now I’m building my startup PerfectvilleUSA, merging fashion, tech, and media into one ecosystem.
Hi DEV, I'm a finance student venturing into tech.
I started learning last year, and currently I'm trying to develop my JavaScript skill to a junior level developer before graduation, I hope to become a full stack developer, and be job ready upon graduation.
I'm here to learn from the experience of others and also to stay updated , and lastly to meet cool people.
Thank you
Hey Desmond! Welcome to Dev.to! I am glad you started off your journey in tech! Also, you are learning JS at the moment, is there a specific stack you would prefer when you become a full-stack dev? Nevertheless, welcome and hope your journey in full stack goes well :D
Hi! Good luck on your journey! I think a tech-savvy finance graduate is a valuable profile, so best to you for going down that road. Does your university offer CS courses? Or are you learning entierely on your own?
Greetings everyone,
I'm a software dev, have put on many hats over the past 5 years. My interest is in AI, mostly from the development end. Trying to balance between vibe coding and ownership of your own code has been a challenge, but rewarding.
Joined DEV here since I figured it would be a good 3rd option to LinkedIn and Twitter.
Hey Hamza! Welcome to Dev.to! Glad you journey goes well and great choice of balancing Vibe coding and ownership! What AI do you use in your development process? Nevertheless, hope your journey goes well and great work!
Thanks Francis,
I’ve experimented with a few. GPT, Claude, and for a while I used Zed with Claude as well.
Currently I’m mostly sticking with OpenAI Codex 5.3. The reasoning capability is pretty solid.
The tricky part is keeping ownership of the code. AI tends to be a little over-eager and will happily refactor half the repo when you only wanted a small change. Because of that I usually treat it more like a scanning sentry. I ask it where things are in the codebase, what options I have, and what patterns might work, rather than letting it directly edit large chunks.
It’s great for breaking coder’s block though. If I’m staring into a blank, it’s useful to get a starting structure.
Although sometimes it just turns engineering into janitorial work instead, so I try to use it sparingly 😅
Hi everyone!
I'm a back-end developer, here to stay updated and contribute more to the community. I currently work with PHP/Laravel, and I also have experience with Java/ATG in e-commerce projects. In general, I really enjoy back-end development, software architecture, and algorithms, regardless of the language.
Hey João! Welcome to Dev.to! How long have you been a back-end developer? In any case, welcome aboard!
Hi everyone 👋
I’m John and I love experimenting with ideas that sit between languages and code. I’m currently building multilingual, a programming language where the same semantic core runs on both desktop and the web.
Excited to be here, discover new projects, and maybe find a few people curious about language design.
Hey John! Great to have you here and welcome to the Dev.to community! Your project in Multilingual is awesome! Great work! How long have you been a programmer for and what's your favorite part about being a Dev? Nevertheless, welcome!
Hey Dev,
I'm a scientific programmar and the developer of the Morloc programming language. I'm interested in building universal libraries and finding ways to get free stuff from strong type systems.
I'm looking forward to meeting cool people!
Hey Zebulun! Welcome to Dev.to! That's great to hear from you! I never heard of Morloc. Is there anything you work with that uses Morloc? Welcome aboard nevertheless.
Hey DEV,
I am an IT engineer passionate about solving security problems. I am also a Golang developer currently developing Warden. I have been working for more than 5 years in financial institutions solving secrets management and data security issues. I also love open source and closely watch projects such as OpenBao, Zitadel and SPIFFE/SPIRE. I have a deep expertise in Hashicorp Vault Enterprise.
I think Warden could be huge and I am looking for open source enthusiasts that could help me develop it : github.com/stephnangue/warden
I am here because I want to learn from the experience of other developers.
Happy to join the community.
Hey Stephane! Welcome to Dev.to! Great work on the Warden project! Looks quite interesting and I hope people on Dev.to will help you on this project! Hope your journey here goes well :)
Thanks Francis,
It would be very helpful if you leave a star on github and share Warden github repo.
Sincerely
Hey DEV 👋
I’m a backend person at heart, frontend by necessity, and DevOps by force.
I love clean code, solid architecture, and commit messages that actually make sense (yes, even the ones written at 2:37 AM).
Right now I’m working with Laravel + PostgreSQL, thinking security-first, and doing a slightly obsessive amount of rate limiting. If it’s not logged — it didn’t happen. If there’s no test — it’s suspicious.
I’m here for ideas, inspiration, and to see how other people survive the classic “it works on my machine.”
Fun fact: I can explain why indexes matter more than yet another framework… and I probably will, even if nobody asks. 😄
Happy to be here — who else is fighting production bugs on a Friday night? 👀
Hey Svetlio! Welcome to Dev.to! Glad you join us! Feel free to tell us why indexes matter (Surprised me lol)! Would love to hear from you but in any case, welcome aboard!
Hi everyone,
I'm a support engineer working with Kubernetes and Linux for the past 5 years. I will use this space to write about new things I learn about in cloud computing and DevOps.
Happy to be part of the community!
Hey SSatya! Welcome to Dev.to! Can't wait to see what you share here and good luck on your journey in Cloud Computing and DevOps!
Hello! I’m thirty and just starting my coding adventure. Currently drawn in by the ability to create SPAs via single prompts to LLMs. Amazed and reverse engineering now to understand, rearrange and make modular the pieces built for me to hopefully create some novel useful things. Formal biology/education undergraduate degree. Higher ed drop out! Music lover. Student of life it’s one class we all get kicked out of eventually.
Hey Stem! Welcome to Dev.to! Never too late to start on your coding journey! Great work so far!
Hey Dev 👋
Thought I'd share a quick intro.
I started out as an infrastructure engineer, often hopping between projects and wearing whatever hat was needed that week/month. Over time, I kept automating the repetitive stuff (because who doesn’t love a good script?), which naturally pulled me into DevOps—and eventually SRE roles.
Along the way, I discovered I really love building things. I’ve made websites for friends, family, and even a few folks I’ve met in pubs who had a great idea but didn’t know where to start. Thought it was time I joined a community with other like minded people.
Cheers! 🚀
Hey Jamie! Welcome to Dev.to and thank you for the intro! You made a great decision to join us. A lot of great people on this platform to share knowledge with! Any plans you have for this year? In any case, hope your journey goes well on Dev.to :D
Excited to be here to share my insights as i build out NornicDB github.com/orneryd/NornicDB/
That's great to see TJ! Great work and welcome to Dev.to! Any goals for this year you have in store? Nevertheless, welcome!
oh man yeah, well at least technically I think I've done something accidentally unique in a single database. my execution model doesn't have an intermediate AST to manipulate because i effectively wrote a cypher compiler that executes as it parses. so i made another blog post lol dev.to/orneryd/cutting-cypher-late...
Ahh I see. Will leave it bookmarked for now. Great work!
Hi all,
I’m the Founder of Metavative, where we build scalable web applications and performance focused digital systems. Excited to share insights, exchange ideas, and grow with the community.
Hey Metavative! Welcome to Dev.to! Glad you join and Good Luck with your company! Hope your journey goes well :D
200 Ok!
Hi folks 👋
I’m a frontend engineer with over 3 YOE currently expanding into systems and backend architecture.
Excited to learn, build, and contribute here!
Hey Viv! Welcome to Dev.to! Great community to expand your skills in backend! What's your favorite part of being a frontend engineer? Regardless, welcome!
Hey Francis! Thanks for the warm welcome. I actually enjoy turning complex ideas into something intuitive and smooth for users.
I joined mainly for the upcoming dev challenges and to keep expanding my skills beyond my comfort zone😅 Excited to build and learn here! 🙌
hi
Hey Errstein! :D
Hey Dev
I am a Solution Architect specializing in cloud-native systems, scalable architectures, and pragmatic engineering decisions that align technology with business outcomes.
Hey Alok! Welcome to the Dev.to Community! How long have you been a Solution Architect for and what do you enjoy most in that field? Welcome aboard!
Hi Francis, I’m nearing a year in this role and have really enjoyed the journey so far. I’m looking forward to contributing even more.
Hello everyone,
I am Francis Pwavwe. I am here to learn from the best. Fun fact about me: I think so much about coding I feel I am Code.
Hey Francis! Welcome to Dev.to! I am also Francis lol! What programming language do you code in and any niche you specialize in? Regardless, welcome and hope your journey here goes well :D
Haha that sounds like a trip!
Hi guys, I'm new to Dev, and looking forward to be part of this community. I'm specifically enthusiastic on AI, Cloud, k8s, and "AI on k8s" haha.
Hey Alister! Welcome to Dev.to! What brings you here? Any goals you have?
I was looking for some communities online, and just heard about DEV. I'm here to catchup with the latest tech trends, events, news, etc.
This is because I was out of the industry for a good couple years, and just started working in tech again.
hey
i am harsh
self taught developer
Hey Harsh! Welcome to Dev.to! Glad you are a self taught developer. I was wondering how long have you been a self taught developer for and what do you specialize? Regardless, hope your journey goes well!
Glad to see another self-taught!
What language did you start with and what are you favoring now?
Hello !
Self-taught system orchestrator with an atypical brain (Aspi/HPI/ADHD). I don't write code the traditional way — I pilot AI agents to build tools that solve real problems. Based in France. 👋
Hey Etienne! Welcome to Dev.to! Great work on learning System Orchestrator! How long have you been in this field? In any case, welcome aboard and hope your journey goes well :)
Hi Francis, thank you for your welcome. I started to be interested in development barely a year ago, but with AI, since the first models of LLM. 🖖
Hi everyone! I’m a senior software engineer who’s spent a lot of time reflecting on why some codebases feel easy to work in and others feel exhausting. Lately I’ve been writing about readability, maintainability, and what happens when AI can generate code faster than we can understand it. Expect to see a lot on that from me here. :)
Hey everyone 👋
I’m a 2nd year CS student who probably should’ve joined Dev Community in first year… but better late than never 😅
Right now I’m diving deeper into backend principles (HTTP, routing, APIs) and trying to become solid backend developer. Not just learning CRUD, but understanding the fundamentals of backend that governs the internet.
Good,
🌱 Aspiring Developer | Journeying from Hello World to... everything else.
I’m currently diving into the world of coding and documenting the "aha!" moments (and the "why won't this work?" moments) along the way. Currently wrestling with [Language, e.g., JavaScript] and loving it.
I'm here to connect with fellow learners and mentors. Let’s grow together! 🚀
Hi! I’m Viviana Siano
I’m a psychologist working at Psicoconecta. I’m especially interested in emotional regulation and practical tools like forgiveness, gratitude, and kindness — grounded in science and applied to real life.
I like to think of psychology as something we can train and use in everyday situations, not just something theoretical.
If there are colleagues from Mar del Plata who would like to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, or simply talk about clinical work and neuroscience, I’d love to connect.
Hi everyone
I’m Nagachaitanya, a backend engineer currently working with Spring Boot and AWS.
Lately I’ve been diving into AI infrastructure and trying to understand embeddings, vector databases, and how LLMs actually work under the hood.
Here to learn in public and break down complex concepts as I understand them. Excited to connect!
Suggest me if you have best resources and community for AI to follow.....Cheers
Hey I'm Peter, was looking for somewhere to post more "technical" content for some critiques, probably start that soon...
Fun fact: I'm an experimental chef. Love to think of and find new ideas to try, ~never follow recipes. Most concoctions come out bad at least a few times, but some nice surprises too!
Reading other people in here I realized I should've project plugged. I'm building Attune.js a local (no AI) cli-based code analyzer trying to help the hackers/vibers get to "production-ready".
Can't decide on a slogan, preference?
Hello Everyone, I'm David, I'm from Colombia and I just find this giant community for devs.
I'm currently learning Devops & Cloud and I want to share here mi advance on the projects I do and things I learn :D
Hey, I’m glad to be on this platform. Now I’ll stay updated from here.
Hey Shubham! Welcome!
“Good morning, starshine, the Earth says hello!”
Welcome to Dev.to!
Hello Dev's,
It's been just a while joining this domain of coding and stuff, and am trying to find a new way forward!!

Hello DEV!
Hey Jaziel! Welcome to the community!
Hi
Hey Obbo! Welcome to Dev.to! What brings you here?
I'm Ray, just saying hello.
Hey Ray! Welcome to Dev.to!
Hi!
I didn't come here for the coding—I came for the storytelling heist. I’m a author currently writing the "Devil guy with a sweet smile and little stories". 🥀🖤. I’m here to turn this place into a social media platform because it's unknown. Who else is here for the vibes and not just the code?
Hey, I'm a complete novice in this field but I still want to learn.
Hey Mahima! Welcome aboard! Is there a field in particular you want to improve on! In any case, hope your journey goes well for you!
👋 Hey all! Excited to join Dev.to, see what folks are working on and share what I'm up to. About me: I'm a full stack developer that enjoys Elixir, analytic databases, AWS infrastructure, and dev tooling.
I'm tinkering on tooling to improve how I use vibe coding for myself , and would love to share it with folks that have pain points / wish lists. Would love to hear what folks are enjoying / disliking about the state of the tooling!
A retired IT manager, now hobbying with Python, Rust, C++, etc etc.
Playing around with neural networks and more recently trying to find european alternatives or selfhosting for bigtech apps and services.
All good fun.
Hi Everyone,
It is me Mujeeb, an enthusiast AI/ML engineer with problem-solving mindset. Right now, I am working on different python projects for improving my concepts and so on. Moreover, I have plunged myself into AI/Ml in order to bring solutions to problems that are causing hindrance.
Hope will learn a lot from here and will also try to share some insights on different topics whenever needed!
Thanks!

Hi, I'm Kat, a computer science PhD student. I learned how to develop video games by entering gamejams and fell in love with the format. I entered 19 gamejams in 3 years, 14 as a developer, and made it to the podium a few times!
I love learning about learning: how do you develop an eye for what works and what doesn't? How do you overcome the issue of the unknown unknown? And of course, how do you make a great gamejam game and become a better gamedev in the process?
So that's what I'll write about here!
Hi everyone, I'm a level 200 I.T student who is still finding it difficult on which aspect of I.T I should choose for my career😢
Hey Enoch! Welcome to Dev.to! IT is a big field. Is there anything specific you like in IT? Cyber security or something else for example? In any case, hope you will find your calling in IT :D
Moin, Grüße aus Bremen.

Hello from a 6th-Sem AI Student & Backend Learner!
Hi everyone! I’m currently diving deep into the world of AI and Backend Engineering. I’m a firm believer that AI is at its best when it's solving real-world problems, and that’s exactly what I’m working on right now.
I’m currently developing an AI Tutor web app designed to help students. My goal is to follow strict industry standards from day one.
The Stack:
Backend: FastAPI (currently mastering this via Coursera!)
Frontend: React & Tailwind (deployed on Vercel)
Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL + pgvector)
DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), and Railway for deployment.
Let’s Collaborate!
By reading the commets below it is look like I am kind of at very beginner level but as they say expert was also once beginner so I am building this project with a "Zero Expense" mindset while maintaining high quality code. I would love to connect with anyone interested in:
FastAPI/Python optimization.
MLOps and scaling AI models.
Frontend/UI/UX contributors who want to work on a project with a social mission.
If you’re looking to build something meaningful or just want to talk about FastAPI and AI, let’s connect in the comments or on GitHub!
Happy to be with you all here.
Hi
Hey Anshul! Welcome to Dev.to! What brings you here?
Hi! I'm Dim Chen, a PhD student, indie developer & designer in Creative AI. Outside of academia I build reading/learning tools. Stack: Supabase, Vike/Next.js, Legend-State, Cloudflare. I spend way too much time on web data sync engines. Excited to share what I'm building and learn from everyone here!
Yup 👋 Nice to meet you everyone , I am beginner programmer who loves python syntax and also likes webdevelopment , i intrested in automation, webdevelopment , and mechine learning , soo here i come improve my syntax , new to developer community 😅 learning through dev post and soon i will also post my thoughts 🤪
Hey peeps🐥,
So, here I am. Thanks for building this platform! I appreciate and adore the makers! And everyone who participate. Let’s see what’s going on.
I am a designer, but knowing A bit what’s going on behind the screen.
Also doing art: here a quick stencil for Lego friend.
The Core Philosophy
"Nature is built solely on addition—including subtraction as its inverse. Complex math like multiplication, calculus, and trigonometry are nothing more than convenient shortcuts for repetitive adding."
Key Points in English
Multiplication is just repeated addition.
(掛け算は、足し算の繰り返しの省略に過ぎない。)
Calculus is the ultimate sum of infinitesimals.
(微積分とは、極小の要素を積み上げた究極の「和」である。)
Everything reduces to the 'superposition' of simple elements.
(すべては単純な要素の「重ね合わせ(足し算)」に還元される。)
Hey! I'm Dan. I build things with TypeScript, Rust, Golang, etc. I'm currently working on Forme - an open source PDF engine that lets you write JSX and get PDFs out. Rust layout engine compiled to WASM, no Puppeteer, no headless Chrome.
Built it because I was running headless Chrome just to generate PDF reports for a farming app. Slow, expensive, and page breaks were a constant headache. So I wrote my own layout engine. Now I'm turning it into something other people can use too.
I'll be writing here about PDF generation, React, WASM, and the experience of launching an open source project as a solo dev. Nice to meet everyone!
Hello Dev.to community!
I'm Queen Esther Chirima, a full-stack developer from South Africa building with React and Node.js. I've just completed two production applications that I'm really proud of:

Hi dev! I’m a junior backend developer from Hong Kong, specializing in Java, Python, and C++. I just joined a quant fund analysis firm, which brought me to dev.to—I’m eager to dive deeper into communities like this for tips on building efficient data pipelines and integrating financial models. Currently, I’m learning about quantitative finance while optimizing algorithms for trading systems.
Welcome welcome welcome y'all!
If you're not sure what to do when you show up, please consider finding a post that you appreciate and thank the author, it goes a long way and it's free!
Happy coding!
Hello everyone! 👋 I'm Mohammed, a Full-Stack Engineer from Jordan.
I specialize in Angular and ASP.NET Core, focusing on building scalable web systems with clean architecture principles. I'm deeply passionate about performance, maintainability, and elevating the developer experience (DX).
Currently, I'm working on automating solutions for common Windows dev environment issues and building Web Console Error Intelligence tools. I'm excited to share my first article soon about a script I built to permanently fix Angular Live Reload & EPERM errors!
Looking forward to connecting, learning, and sharing with this amazing community! 🚀
Hello everybody!
45 y/o data engineer from the Netherlands here. For the past years I have been focusing on raising my daughter and now the time is right to spend more time on building again. Cloud infrastructure (mainly Azure) and data engineering are my bread and butter but I am now expanding my horizon and using AI to learn about other crafts in the SWE domain. I have always been a shy guy without any public profiles and I am here to break old habits.
Looking forward to the times ahead!
Hi, I’m Juliana. Retired after 20+ years in tech and starting fresh with Python. I’m moving from burnout to curiosity, learning at my own pace. My old laptop is Bagend, and my new one is New Adventure — fitting names for this journey
Welcome everyone!
I’m a curious guy who got introduced to programming. I’m currently a full-stack web developer and also learning Bash, CLI, Linux, and low-level stuff like how functions work in assembly and how machine code can build the entire digital world.
I’ve moved from exploring how websites work to understanding how code works at the deepest level.
This is my first post/comment ever on this platform. See you around!
Hi everyone,
I am fullstack architect and data engineer. I have worked with many startup companies and founded my own companies for a while and finally went back to work with an MNC company.
I used to do lot of community work like fixing bugs on open-source projects and participating in Github discussions. Now, I started developing open-source projects solo (thanks to AI assited coding tools). So I joined DEV for taking feedback and communicating with others.
My first post - here
Cheers!
Hello everyone , i am Prajwal new to DEV
of course i am a programmer! i love writing code in golang, cpp also currently learning full stack development also linux enthusiast , would love to connect with people having similar interests .
Hi everyone! I’m Rocío from Argentina 🇦🇷. I spent years as an Industrial Engineer dealing with water pumps, motors, and physical systems.
What brought me here? I pivoted to Data Engineering & Architecture because I realized that debugging code is way better than debugging a leaking machine in the middle of a factory.
What I'm learning: I’m currently focused on Autonomous Data Lakes and cost-effective architectures in AWS.
The Tech Crush: I’m deeply in love with Kafka. I always say that if I were a piece of Java code, I’d definitely be dating Kafka. Our connection would be low-latency, high-throughput, and perfectly partitioned. 💘
Fun Fact: I’d love to say I kept a memento from my industrial job, but honestly, all I got from there were problems (lol). Now, I’m proudly sipping coffee from my Kiro mug I got at re:Invent. Much better trade-off!
Build on, always. 🏗️
Hi! I'm Shmulik — senior engineer at Apiiro and the author of AI Superhero, a weekly newsletter going deep on AI tools, models, and benchmarks.
Each week I publish a practical deep-dive on what's actually happening in the AI space: code review agents, LLM internals, RAG architectures, coding tools.
I'm cross-posting my best articles here. The originals live on Substack — I'll always link back.

I am releasing a C/C++ IDE for ubuntu and maxOS (also a file manager/text editor combo). Not AI but the old fashion productivity kind of tools. I've been using it myself for more than 10 years and now I am trying to find out how it goes with everyone else.

Hey, Marcin here. CTO and WordPress developer from Poland, been building on the web for about 15 years now.
I run a small dev shop called We Got This - we mainly do WordPress consulting, emergency site repairs, and custom development. I also build tools that solve problems I keep running into myself.
The latest one is Hunazo (hunazo.com) - an escrow-protected marketplace for AI agents. That one's a different beast entirely - Solidity smart contracts, USDC on Base, the whole Web3 stack. Turns out the AI agent economy needs trust infrastructure before it can grow beyond toy demos.
I'm also working on WP Multitool (wpmultitool.com) - a 13-module performance toolkit for WordPress. Think slow query analysis with MySQL EXPLAIN, hook profiling, wp-config management, database cleanup. All in one modular plugin, so disabled modules add zero overhead. I got tired of installing 6 different plugins just to diagnose why a client's site was slow, so I built one that does it all. $50 lifetime, no subscription.
On the side I use Claude Code and AI tooling pretty heavily in my workflow. It's weird how fast the dev experience is changing - I'm building things now that would've taken me months a year ago.
Looking forward to sharing some WordPress performance tips here and maybe writing about the journey of shipping indie products as a small European studio. Always happy to talk WP optimization, plugin architecture, or the agent economy stuff.
What's everyone working on?
Hi everyone! I'm Pavan Kumar Appannagari, a software engineer focused on mobile architecture, iOS development, AI and distributed systems.
I'm particularly interested in cross-platform mobile development and observability in applications.
Looking forward to learning from the community and sharing some articles soon.
Hello beautiful folks, I am back to Dev community and this time with an intent to stay.
A month ago, didn't really know vs code, GitHub, or Antigravity but guess who has all of it on their website?
Anyway, here to talk about non-code building, to share my experience.
Give me a shout so I can check out your work :)
Happy building!
Hi everyone,
I’m a software engineer with a background in distributed systems and AI. By day I work on backend infrastructure for autonomous driving, by night I build open source tools and read too many papers on multi-agent systems.
I joined dev.to because I just started writing about things I’m building and thinking about — mostly around AI agents, local-first systems, and the design decisions behind them. Solo building can get pretty quiet and I’m looking for more technical conversations.
Happy to be here!
Hey everyone 👋 I’m Arul, a software engineer. I mainly work on backend/web apps and I enjoy building small developer tools (CLI, automation, etc.), anything that makes work smoother and actually useful. These days, I’m also exploring AI to improve dev workflows (like reviews, quality checks, and productivity). Joined DEV to learn from the community and share what I’m building. Happy to connect 🙂
Hey, I'm Pawel, based in Katowice, Poland. I spend most of my time building AI automation systems with Claude Code, and writing about what actually works (and what doesn't) on my humble Substack.
Right now I'm running an AI agent that works night shifts - evaluating ideas, building prototypes, publishing experiments - while I sleep. The results are somewhere between impressive and embarrassing.
Always up to talk agents, automation, or CLAUDE.md rabbit holes.
Hey everyone! Just joined DEV after lurking for a while.
I work on browser automation tooling - mostly the unglamorous side of it, like keeping browser sessions from looking identical to detection systems when you're running them at scale. Canvas fingerprinting, WebGL spoofing, that kind of thing. It's a weird niche but there's a surprising amount going on under the hood.
Looking forward to reading more here and hopefully contributing some posts on the browser internals side. If anyone else is working in the automation/scraping space, always happy to compare notes.
Hello everyone 👋
I’m Ninad — founder & engineer building Nubo.Email, an all-in-one communication suite (mail, calendar, contacts, drive, chat + AI).
I joined Dev.to because I genuinely enjoy reading deep technical writeups — especially around distributed systems, startup architecture decisions, and real-world scaling stories. There’s something refreshing about builders openly sharing what worked and what broke.
Currently learning (and sometimes struggling with 😅):
Multi-tenant architecture patterns
Matrix-based real-time communication
Designing privacy-first SaaS systems
Making AI features actually useful — not just hype
One thing I’ve realized while building:
Shipping is hard. Scaling is harder. But explaining what you’re building clearly might be the hardest skill of all.
Looking forward to learning from this community and hopefully contributing back with honest build-in-public stories.
If you're working on infra, SaaS, or AI products — would love to connect!
Hello friends. I'm here to connect and uplift other developers. There's some choppy seas right now, I hope to help anchor all the good people in our industry by focusing on the fundamentals and evergreen qualities: good work, sharing our knowledge, and focusing on solving problems. ❤️
Hey everyone! I'm Prakersh -- a systems engineer by day (7+ years working with Linux, cloud infra, and GPU clusters) and an indie maker by night.
I build AI-powered tools without VC funding, just solving problems I personally run into. A few things I've been working on:
I also write about AI and developer tooling on my blog at onllm.dev.
Outside of tech, I have a Beagle named Beagu who makes sure I never code uninterrupted for too long.
Always happy to connect with other builders and tinkerers. What's everyone working on?
Welcome all! 👋🧔♂️
