This is a really exciting challenge—bringing Copilot directly into the CLI feels like a natural next step for how many of us actually work day to day. I especially like how open-ended the prompt is; it encourages practical solutions while still leaving room for creative and experimental ideas that show real workflow impact. I’m definitely interested in joining and exploring how Copilot CLI can speed up debugging and everyday automation in my own projects 🚀

@jess I had to turn off the comments on my video submission. Doing so seems to have updated the date on the video, but the URL remains the same, as it’s still the original upload.

Just wanted to check if that’s alright.

Just following up on my last message about the video I uploaded during the hackathon. Same URL, same upload, just had to switch off comments because of some… unusual ones 😅. Somehow it time traveled to a new date but everything else is the same. Is that okay?

So I'm already using copilot a bunch of other ways, but don't actually use the CLI much.

Good reason if any to look into how to leverage it more. I have one project idea that I think would be fun to try out.

This looks like a fun challenge with solid incentives. Bringing Copilot directly into the CLI feels like a natural next step, and the open-ended prompt makes it easy to experiment with real workflows instead of forced demos. That's so cool, actually tried Copilot CLI the other day and already was thinking about ditching the UI interface. it feels way better and the output felt cleaner don't know if that's me or there is a reason for that.

we go to college to learn to code, not learn to use AI.

@codemonster240 In 1985 you'd be doing most of your coding in assembly in college, and in 1965 you'd be on punch cards... but learning how to prove De Morgan's Theorem will always be important. Understanding run-time complexity will always be important. Technologies change, but what it means to compute doesn't. Computer Science is just going through another paradigm shift, as it has many times before.
